UK online retailer The Very Group has appointed Beckie Crane-Stanion as its new marketing director, bringing an experienced fashion and retail executive into the leadership team behind Very and Littlewoods.
Crane-Stanion joins the company from jewellery brand Abbott Lyon, where she served as global brand director from 2025 to 2026. Before that, she spent more than four years at Frasers Group, serving as chief marketing officer from January 2020 until February 2024.
During her time at Frasers, Crane-Stanion worked closely with CEO Michael Murray as the group developed its strategy for elevating its brands and customer proposition. Her career has included senior roles spanning fashion, sport and beauty, giving her experience across several consumer-focused industries.
At The Very Group, Crane-Stanion will take responsibility for the retailer’s brand, creative and marketing activities. Her remit will cover customer engagement across the company’s major channels as Very looks to strengthen its position and develop its brand further.
Commenting on her appointment, Crane-Stanion said she was looking forward to joining Very and working with a retailer that has a long history of serving families. She said the timing offered an opportunity to reconsider how the business connects with its customers while developing the next stage of the Very brand.
The appointment comes as The Very Group continues to focus on its customer proposition and broader brand development. Very operates alongside Littlewoods under the group and serves customers through its digital retail operations.
Sam Wright, chief customer and commercial officer at The Very Group, said Crane-Stanion was joining at an important stage for the business. He highlighted her previous experience and said her appointment would support the company as it seeks to expand its reach and strengthen its brand.
Crane-Stanion’s combination of experience in retail marketing, brand development and consumer industries is expected to shape Very’s marketing strategy as the company works on its next phase of growth.
